A longhaired red and white tom with a blue and grey collar and yellow eyes

A fluffy,long-furred pale ginger tom with pale yellow eyes. He has a white stomach, chest and socks along with a random white patch of fur on the outside of his front right lower leg. His nose is pink with few black specks on it, his paws sharing the same pink colour with minimal black specks. He also wears a blue and grey collar that has a name tag attached to it as old as himself but there’s no bell so it doesn’t often alert prey. The collar has shortened the fur around his neck a bit.

A lazy tom who loves nothing more than to sunbathe and sleep in the highest of trees. It’s probably not even correct to consider him semi-feral considering the fact he’s anything but feral. He’s often found either laying in the backyard of the housefolk that feed him when he’s not bothered to hunt or anywhere he finds comfortable really. Laziness isn’t his only trait though! He can also be really sweet, being one who loves affection and attention from cats and household that he’s familiar with. He’s quite wary when it comes to strangers, often hiding when unfamiliar twolegs appear. 

Being lazy doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not curious though. Despite believing that nothing could be better than the stress-free life he lives, he likes to daydream about what it’d be like to live a different life. He’s heard stories of these so-called clan cats here and there but he doesn’t believe that they’re real. At least not until he sees a few with his own two eyes. And yes. A few, not one. For all he knew it could just be one delusional cat making up stories so if he did happen to meet one, he’d need more evidence, right?

His kithood wasn’t eventful in his eyes. His father wasn’t present, which he heard from mother, who had told him that father’s rarely were. If that was the case why was the housefolk’s father there all the time? The tom decided to not question it too much though, he was a cat after all, not at all the same as the housefolk who walked on two legs.

At four moons old, he moved into a new home, quite the distance from his family. But he wasn’t too upset. He had water (though it wasn’t the most tasty water), food, shelter, a place to sleep, company, and  clothes? That’s what the neighbouring cat said the thing the housefolk put on him was called but he hated it and thankfully his housefolk took the hint.

For about ten moons, he stayed with these kind housefolk but one by one, as they brought in more pets, he started to hate it. The dogs were noisy and never let him sleep, one was always trying to bite him and the other was always trying to lick him and after ten long moons he snapped, deciding to find a new home where he could actually get some peace and quiet.

At the start it wasn’t too bad! He was sorta (not really) getting an idea of this hunting thing but whenever he ended up having eaten nothing he started to go to this family of housefolk that was surprisingly generous with their food. They also had a cute little kitten who he got along pretty well with and an elderly dog that never bothered them and hardly barked too.
