At the moment, Mistypaw’s still between the rounder kitten stage and the lean, long-legged adult frame she will one day have. Her ears seem too big for her body still and tail a little too long, but in truth, she will continue to grow into them as she gets older. Her fur, which is mid-furred and right between her parent’s fur lengths, is still kitten soft and gives her a disheveled appearance. Her pelt in general is lilac in color, the color appearing a soft warm grey with a hint of tan. The color appears darker on her legs, tail and face to fading to a lighter color along the trunk of her body, accenting the darker, broken stripes that decorate her pelt. Her nose is a grey-tan in color, a tad darker than her fur color, making her odd eyes stand out, or at least one of them. She inherited the odd-colored eyes from her sire- the right eye is kitten blue while the left eye has matured into a rich copper.

The beginning of Mistypaw’s clan life had full of confusion from her dame being killed and being uprooted from the only life she’d known up. Add to that the only adult cat she knew she could trust had disappeared and it left her reeling, feeling scared and uncertain, which had emerged as being fussy and anxious.

However, her true nature has begun to develop, showing her to be very different from the stressed kit she had been. Mistypaw is honestly a curious, energetic young she-cat who isn’t afraid to make up her mind and try something new, whether it’s something that will get her rewarded or something that will prove to have consequences. As such, as she’s grown, she’s learning and trying new things, slowly developing confidence in herself and her knowledge and abilities. While she is assertive and isn’t afraid to let others know her opinion, she does her best to listen to what she is told, whether she does as she’s told is another matter.

Mistypaw was the first-born kit in a litter of four, having three other siblings who were all born in an overgrown thicket outside of clan territory. Her mother was a passing Turkish Angora she-cat named Belladonna who kept her litter in the thicket until pressings need caused her to move them as she saw fit. Every once and awhile, another cat visited the little family and, while Mistypaw doesn’t really understand who that cat might be, he was one of the two significant cat in her earliest memory.

She doesn’t remember anything solidly about her litter’s sire, but she does remember brief whiffs of a pleasant scent when he was around. Belladonna raised her litter under watchful paws and told stories of her youth to her litter and, once Mistypaw became mobile, she tottered everywhere her mother would let her. A curious and eager kit ready to explore so she could start trying to learn about more of the world around them. It almost got her into trouble one night, when a tawny owl decided she and her siblings looked mighty tasty. Her brother caught it’s attention instead when he decided to dart out in front of his siblings while  they were playing. Thankfully, their mother came to the rescue just in time.

Sadly, the peace, love and coziness of her earliest memories of her life was brought to an end on the 14th of Lion’s Glory 2020. When while crossing the thunderpath, a monster roared towards them from around a corner and struck Belladonna, killing her in an instant. As rain began to fall, it began to wash  away the scent of the incident and shortly afterwards, she felt herself being plucked up by the scruff of her neck. Along with her three littermates, they were delivered in the twilight hours to a strange but sheltering thicket within Fourtrees to be awaited by the clans who were fated to adopt them while the strom continued to rage all around them.

Mistypaw was taken to Riverclan and was adopted by the fiesty queen, Otterwhisker, who finished raising her. On the 20th of Leopard’s Rest (2020), Mistypaw was apprenticed to the Riverclan warrior Thornstrike.
