Appearance Short Description : A longhaired, broken braided lilac tuxedo tabby tom with odd eyes Long Description :
Grousecreek is a long-haired lilac broken mackerel braided tabby warrior with white tuxedo-like markings. Grousecreek is a very large feline, even larger than their former apprentice, Goosesong, due to their Maine Coon heritage through their paternal grandfather. However they are also quite angular and tall due to their Oriental Longhair ancestry from his maternal grandfather, who was a domestic tom from Whitehart, however they had never heard much about him, especially since the two lived in vastly different worlds. Grousecreek’s front paws each have an additional toe making them Polydactyl from their dame’s genealogy. Their eyes are odd, heterochromic with a deep ocean blue and a green-yellow hue giving them an appearance that may have been unique to those who knew them. Has a long scar on the underside of their belly from a particularly nasty fight with a rogue. |

Personality Stern is a polite way to describe Grousecreek, but in truth the warrior is strict and near unyielding. However there is a reason for their harshness, they simply wants the best for their clanmates and was taught at a young age that discipline is needed to achieve that. They pass this knowledge onto their apprentice/s through a rigorous training regimen and near relentless hard work. Grousecreek is a hard-working warrior themself, often stopping at nothing until their work is completed to perfection. And yet, they don’t have much ill temper or ill intent. Only thinking what they do is right for who they care about. The strict and disciplined way they treated all of their clanmates came from a place of care but it was rare that we would ever show it, and only a select few have seen a side of them that is truly soft and caring. |

Grousecreek was born to two doting RiverClan warriors in a litter of four. Their parents, Larkcrest and Sabletrail, were good parents from what Grousekit could remember, doting and sharing all the attention between them and their siblings, neither of them going without love from either parent. Grousecreek didn’t know much about either of their parents’ past, but they always assumed they had been close friends and didn’t bother to ask much. When they turned six moons, they were given to a mentor that thought that perfection was best and the only mark of a good apprentice. Grousepaw looked up to the warrior with wide dazzled eyes, seeking perfection in whatever task they were put on, their mistakes however, earned brutal scolding and Grousepaw learned to seek perfection no matter what the cost. Grousepaw eventually improved their skills at an even pace, and by their warrior ceremony, they were just as much of a perfectionist as their mentor, but less brutal and more strict. After several moons of warriorhood, they were given an apprentice, Goosepaw, a quiet and withdrawn apprentice. But they didn’t coddle Goosepaw, they sought perfection and discipline in Goosepaw and wanted nothing more than for their apprentice to succeed. And succeed he did. Goosepaw became strong and disciplined, and even with the tragedy of his sister, Reedpaw’s death to the raging fury of the river, Goosepaw stayed strong. Grousecreek didn’t pry, didn’t try to comfort Goosepaw, but they were there. They stood beside Goosepaw on nights that felt empty, and to Goosepaw, that felt like more than Grousecreek knew. Moons after Goosepaw had been made a warrior, Grousecreek tragically met their end on the moon of First White (2019) after getting bitten by a venomous snake and not being able to get back to camp quick enough, being found by their friend and dame of their offspring, Poppycloud.
