A pale cinnamon classic tabby she cat with a mid-length, ragged pelt

Eleni is a very pale cinnamon she-cat. She is average in size due to her father being a Siberian, despite her mother’s smaller frame. Her fur is mid-length and ragged due to her growing struggle to clean herself, and she has classic tabby markings. Her eyes are a bright amber colour. She has a small patch of white surrounding her nose and jaw.

Eleni is a grumpy cat and she knows it. Her bones ache and she complains, someone is too loud, she complains. Little impresses her nowadays, and its hard to catch her in what she considers a ‘good mood’, which just means she feels content. Now that she lives alone with her remaining son she feels a little out of place. She’s alive due to her strong spirit, but she also thinks she has lived too long and wouldn’t mind making a journey to the afterlife. Loyalty runs deep within Eleni, along with creating ideals of strength and power. She devoted herself to her birth group, and was always headstrong and forward. She hardly ever shows affection, not even when she had a litter, only giving them motherly comfort during the night when the kits slept. To her, to survive meant you had to be cold and sometimes a little cruel. Deep down she loves her family more than anything, and wishes she was a little kinder to her children. She has made a promise to herself, that when she takes her dying breath, it will be done to save Aurelius. It’s the last show of affection she can give before she goes.

Eleni was born within Caligula’s Cabal to one of the groups first members, Mintaka. She grew up within the Cabal like most of the group did, but found herself with a strong sense of loyalty towards the group. There wasn’t a particular reason, as it was just in Eleni’s nature to feel a strong sense of connection to the cats that raised her, despite some of their harsher teachings. She didn’t have an overly strong relationship with her mother, as Eleni likes independence. She likes doing things herself and can sometimes get a little defensive when others offer help, which was very prominent when she was young, but its safe to say she never really grew out of this behaviour, as even now she refuses help unless from Aurelius, as she finally gave in to his persistence on wanting to help her.

Once Eleni finished her training and became a fully fledged Cabal cat, little changed for her. Life continued on for usual until an escaped house cat stumbled into the group, requesting for assistance on how to survive out on the wild. She paid little interest to this new cat, but had noticed that he was strong and muscular, and had a peculiar golden pelt. He was a cat that would produce strong kits, so after a few moons of him living with the Cabal she requested him to sire a litter, to which he agreed.

Her litter was born, containing three kittens, but only two made it past birth. One of them ended up running away during their kittenhood, so she was left with one. Aurelius. Her pride and joy, who had also managed to gain the cat she had mated withs gorgeous golden pelt. Eleni was strict and cold with her kits. They needed to learn the harsh reality of the world if they were to survive. She wasn’t cruel to them, but she did show little affection or sympathy. It broke Eleni to act like this, so when the kits had settled down and fallen asleep, she curled up tight, pressing her nose into their tiny bodies and whispering, promising she did love them despite the way she acted towards them. With her other two children gone, Eleni put on an even harder exterior than she already had been, pushing Aurelius to his limits.

Eleni stayed with the Cabal for the rest of her life, and was the primary cat to train Aurelius. She is very proud of the cat he became. She survived the ups and downs of the Cabal, and now lives with Aurelius on the groups original territory.
