Crookedfeather is a tall, silver feline with a long and fluffy pelt. They have a white underbelly which is often muddy or dirty, as well as sepia-point markings. They have deep blue eyes, although one of them is significantly lighter, and have reddish skin which is patchy and cracked. Their tail is crooked and feathery, earning them their name (although -feather is also derived from their graceful and swift walk). The feline has a small scar on their nose, and their left paw has a scar from frostbite when they were a young kit.

They’re incapable of making decisions, often relying on their clanmates to make decisions for them. The feline is not good with kits, and can be awkward with other clanmates too. However, they are quite talkative, although they often have no idea what the right thing to say is. As a warrior, the feline is very headstrong and stubborn, being fairly harsh on outsiders. Their awkward nature causes them trouble, because their instinctive personality means that they often yell out rude things, especially at cats they don’t like.

They were born as the strongest in their litter, but their health declined after a tough winter, when their paw became frostbitten. As a kit, the feline was friends with many of the other kits, trying to catch the attention of the apprentices. Many of the warriors felt that the cat wouldn’t grow to be the greatest warrior, due to their short attention span and inability to make good decisions. They liked to scavenge for titbits around the camp, like rocks, leaves and twigs, which they showed to their mother and buried at the back of their den.

As a young apprentice, they excelled in scenting and tracking, however more enjoyed combat. This caused them trouble, especially at 6-8 moons, because they weren’t meant to be learning this yet. They were excited to begin to learn combat, but was still the best at hunting tactics. At around 10 moons, when they were meant to be looking after the youngest apprentices, they snuck away to play in the tall grass; this caused their warrior ceremony to be delayed until they learned to be more resourceful towards their clan.

At around 13 moons, they started exploring their gender identity; they had met a nonbinary rouge and this interested them. The feline came out and most of their clan accepted this. They were a great hunter, leading many successful hunts, however caused trouble for the clan after embarrassing them by yelling at another clan’s leader during a meeting. They were banned from going on border patrols in fear of causing more trouble.
