Personality Boldclaw is outwardly confident, friendly and caring. He is a quick thinker and learns with ease due to his curious nature. He is empathetic and willingly listens to his clanmates’ troubles, happily trying to help them navigate their dilemmas. As much as he enjoys socialising, he can be quite socially awkward. Not quite finding the correct words and occasionally being quite abrupt and abrasive. He tries his best, and always means well, rarely intending to be mean or nasty. Boldclaw has his faults. His Sleepswoon condition causes him to be irritable from time to time. He also can be less than attentive to detail and relatively blunt. Due to being made a warrior so young, he questions his capabilities and has become headstrong as he still tries to prove himself. This uncertainty within himself causes a measure of doubt that is often displayed in impulsive behaviour as the tom prefers action over thought. Another peculiarity of Boldclaw is that he occasionally has hallucinations and can come off as quite strange or even disturbing after encountering a hallucination or after randomly falling asleep due to his condition. To him the things he sees are real and he can be quite adamant in believing in them, struggling to accept reality. This merging of the fictional and the real causes Boldclaw to be occasionally quite erratic. |

Full History :
Kithood [0-6 moons] Boldkit was born to Lilacwing and Lichenstorm as an only kit and his parents adored him. He was almost always treated well by both his parents and his clanmates and swiftly developed into a strong and confident kit. Without any littermates, Boldkit’s attention was often drawn to the insects that roamed the camp as they moved and were far more interesting then balls of moss or loose feathers. With practice in hunting and play on the various bugs, Boldkit quickly developed a sense of adventure and against clan rules, began to sneak out of camp. During one instance he managed to catch a mouse that had, for one reason or another, roamed a little too close to the camp for its on safety. While Boldkit was heavily scolded for leaving camp, he was also praised for his catch and many thought he would make a great warrior one day. This misbehaviour of leaving camp as a kit continued, although Boldkit did not roam too far. He was adventurous and curious, but not completely stupid. Uneducated and lacking wisdom were the most accurate way to consider him during this time. Facts that came to proof during an incident in his fifth moon. Boldkit had been tracking a beetle along one of the steeper edges of Windclan’s camp when the loose soil gave way beneath his paws and he slipped. The drop wasn’t one a warrior would willingly tackle, much less a kit and the little tom slid against sharp rocks and gravel until he landed back in camp. His screeches and yowls of shock and pain brought the attention of his mother who had been looking for him. Lilacwing rushed Boldkit to the clan’s medicine cat, frantic over his injuries. It took days to clean the gravel and grit from the tom’s injuries as much was embedded deep and it was too painful to remove it all in one go. Slowly though, Boldkit healed, leaving a noticeable scar on his right flank where a particularly sharp rock had cut him like a claw.
Apprenticeship [6 – 12 moons] Boldpaw was named an apprentice in the final moon of leafbare after his injuries had finally healed. Due to his misbehaviour as a kit, he was given a stern mentor who ensured the tom was too busy training to get into trouble. In the first few moons of his apprenticeship, Boldpaw trained so often and so hard that he began to feel tired on a regular basis. Despite this, the tom appeared to be excelling in his skills and assessments, and certainly he had shown an aptitude from early on. His mischievous actions as a kit that had led to him catching a mouse allowed him to successfully catch two mice on his first day when his mentor wished to evaluate where his skills were already at. These he had cheerfully given to his parents. Despite his obvious skills as a hunter, Boldpaw did not seem to lack when it came to fighting practice either. Indeed, the young tom had a thirst for learning and enjoyed all forms of practice, feeling proud of his skills and enthusiastic to develop more. As Boldpaw’s training continued he began to become somewhat egotistical. He recognised his abilities and reveled in them. For a time, the young tom began to show off and brag about his accomplishments to any who would hear him, but this soon ended as his energy levels began to fluctuate. This hindrance to his training caused Boldpaw’s progression to slow and the tom’s ego died down to a more tolerable size. He did not, however, give up in his efforts to become the mightiest warrior Windclan had ever seen and still trained as diligently as his steadily growing sleepiness would allow.
Warriorhood [12 moons – 31 moons] Despite the waves of sleepiness that would hit Boldpaw on occasion, the tom managed to pass his assessments and be named a warrior. He was exceptionally excited at this time, proud to have achieved his warrior name and to be recognised for his efforts as an apprentice. From the moment his silent vigil was over, Boldclaw has worked diligently, catching many rabbits and completing the tasks assigned to him in a timely fashion. While no longer being a kit, Boldclaw has maintained a relationship with his mother and even his father, and both have expressed their pride in the tom. As Boldclaw settled into the role of a warrior, he began to feel the desire to father a litter. For a time, he pursued a female who seemed interested in having a litter but he was ultimately rejected. As is the way of things his disappointment didn’t last for long, although he still holds hope of one day being a father. Despite no longer being an apprentice undergoing rigorous training, Boldclaw found that he still felt tired from time to time, even days at a time. What’s more, he was beginning to fall asleep unexpectedly. This happened on one such occasion while he was looking out from the top of a large rock. One moment awake, the next asleep and when he did awake once more he found himself at the base of the rock quite bruised. Embarrassed, the tom had told the medicine cat that he had simply slipped and fell. These incidents did not stop however. Once while sleeping in his nest he had a dream so vivid of being trapped in a ditch that he had woken up to being shaken by a concerned fellow warrior. He had apparently been kicking and clawing, panting desperately. Even so, Boldclaw put the dream out of his mind and soon forgot the occurrence. With his ever increasing exhaustion and the way he would fall asleep randomly and often at in opportune moments, Boldclaw was steadily growing more and more irritable. He never was the best at socialising in the first place but with this level of irritability he was simply unable to hold his tongue during a border patrol in which a curious apprentice from Riverclan had unintentionally crossed the border. A few choice remarks and a full battle ensued. Thankfully not cat was killed during this battle, but Boldclaw was scratched up pretty good. His wounds did heal after the attention of the medicine cat and he was quickly returned to his duties as a warrior. Whether Boldclaw had learned to hold his tongue or not was not entirely certain. With Boldclaw’s condition only worsening, the tom was steadily gaining more accidental injuries during hunts and patrols. Most healed without issue but the problem was becoming more noticeable. During a conversation Aspenberry, Boldclaw’s condition came to ahead and he had some exceedingly erratic behaviour. Understandably, Aspenberry fetched Rowanglade and Boldclaw was finally assessed. It was soon determined that the tom was suffering from a condition known as Sleepswoon. For a time, Boldclaw was watched over and evaluated but during the moon of Tiger’s Wrath, he was retired to the Elder’s Den. At first, the tom had assumed this was temporary to allow him to recover, but two seasons later found him still retired and now seething. Boldclaw retired to the Elder’s Den due to his sleepswoon condition on the 11th day of Tiger’s Wrath 2020. (6 moons ago) Threads :

Boldclaw has been approved!
History: After quite a while of training he was starting to get excited because of his unique fighting methods, for example setting up traps by digging deep holes in the ground with his paws, and putting tree moss he found above it so that mice and squirrels would fall in. He would jump in, attack them, and it would be more convenient to have everything in one place, much less to carry, and doesn’t require multiple trips back to get said critters. – I still don’t find this technique to be realistic at all. I don’t see either squirrels or mice falling for this, or for the effort of digging the hole to be worth it. Cats aren’t designed for digging. The covering wouldn’t appear like a stable bit of ground. CoSC prides itself on realism in Warriors RP, and this technique is well outside of the norm. You might try and pursue it as a Plot (where staff will decide how well the technique works based on your descriptions as the character develops it in character) after the character is approved, but it may not be effective.
Overall: These things are really what’s causing most of the problems that are getting your sheet declined. In hopes of helping you get to where the character needs to be faster I’m going to call them out specifically.
