A solidly built silvery fawn ticked tabby she-kit with mismatched eyes

Rimekit, for now, is a tiny bundle of fur, but will grow to have the proportions of her sire rather than her dam (semi-cobby) and will be slightly larger than average (medium-large).

She has a pale fawn-colored, sleek coat that will be on the edge of fluffy, being mid-furred, with certain areas of her body being hairier than others with will include around her ears, chest, hocks, and tail. Her pelt is ticked with varying shades of pale, caramel gold and traces of silver, giving her an ethereal, frosted appearance, as if dusted with a fine layer of frost which Wildcry deemed fitting for a kit born in the dead of leaf-bare.

Delicate fawn tabby markings streak faintly across her face, most pronounced on her cheeks and forehead, with a slightly more squared shape that mirrors her father’s. Her tail is thick and fringed at the end, tapering off with a few, darker stripes that deepens the silvery effect of her coat, and a touch of white graces her chin and the tips of her paws, standing out against her warmer caramel shades.

Though she is still young, her frame already hints at the bulk she will inherit from her father, Stormfall, with powerful legs and a broad chest that will eventually lend her strength in battle. Her paws, while small, are wide, with tiny, clear colored claws and taupe pink paw pads.

Rimekit’s most striking feature, however, is her mismatched eyes – one a bright, vivid green and the other a cool, pale blue.

Rimekit, like most newborns, starts her life as a small bundle of energy and need, with her behavior shaped by her immediate surroundings and instincts. She is notably vocal and demanding when it comes to nursing, often making her presence known with loud, impatient mewls if she’s not getting her fill. She is especially assertive for milk, even through she doesn’t have any immediate siblings to push or prod away, she still nurses greedily, and usually grumbles during the act.

When her eyes open up, her bright, mismatched eyes – one blue, one green – seem to observe everything with keen intensity, hinting at a future cat who will be sharp and always eager to learn from her surroundings, even if she can’t seem to focus very well.

Rimekit was born in the cold morning hours of the 25 of Long Nights 2020, being the only kit in Wildcry’s second, and last litter, to Thunderclan. Her sire is Stormfall, while not a particularly acclaimed warrior, proved to her dam that he would be a fitting choice to continue her bloodline. She currently shares the nursery with her cousin, Sunstrike, who is rearing two, moon-older kits of her own. More cousins!
