Appearance Short Description : A cream mackerel tabby tom with a bobbed tail and hazel eyes. Long Description :
Mintwhisker has a thick cream tabby coat decorated with stripes and seems to stick up in a frizzy sort of way and while he doesn’t have long fur, he doesn’t have short sleek fur either. As he has matured, he has grown into a tall, large tom like his sire, and was pleased he grew into his paws. Having also inherited the bobbed tail, his eyes have settled into to a rich hazel color. |

Personality Mintwhisker is a very shy and nervous tom. Where his brother always wanted to be in the midst of things, Mintwhisker was content to stay in the nursery. Afraid of getting into trouble, this has also tempered his urge to explore, though he could often be strong-armed into doing things with Nettleplume at his brother’s insistence. While he is curious, his nervousness tends to override and so he appears to not have much initiative. It took much coaxing for his mother to finally get him to emerge from the nursery and even then, the expanse of camp made his feet turn cold. Even going to the fresh kill pile could take a while of mustering up his courage but he can now do that without a lot of hesitation. During his apprenticeship, he has gained some self-confidence and tries to be as gentle and kind as he can, he unfortunately still has a stutter and will never be considered the boldest of the clan. |

Mintwhisker was born as Mintkit to Maplesprig and Speckledfrost on the 11th day of the Moon of Leopard’s Rest (2019), alongside his brother Nettleplume. His sire and dame agreed to come together and provide a litter out of convince, taking solace in the departures of each of their respective “mates”. He has spent most of his time in the nursery, not having the same urge to explore and integrate into the clan, being too timid and shy. His dame must have been very frustrated with him, but she was patient and eventually managed to coax him out and convinced him that going to the fresh kill pile wasn’t that hard. As such, he has had a very boring kithood compared to Nettleplume. On the 2nd day of First Fishing (2020), Mintkit was apprenticed as Mintpaw to a young she-cat by the name of Cottonbright. Just as his new mentor is desperate to prove herself as a mentor, the newly named Mintpaw was just as desperate and eager to learn how to be a good apprentice so he could eventually become a proper warrior. He sees the finish line to his apprenticeship and, while jealous his brother had been named a fill-fledged medicine cat before he was made a warrior, he thinks he managed to keep said jealousy under wraps. On the 6th day of First White (2020), Mintpaw was granted the rank of warrior and given the name Mintwhisker with honor given to his careful nature. |
