Ghost

Ghost is a small all-white she-cat with amber eyes. Her body is lithe and muscular from her frequent runs, though her claws may not be the sharpest or longest. Her fur is mid-length, and fluffs out around the sides of her body and along her tail.

Ghost is an evasive cat, prone to frequent bouts of restlessness and wanderlust. She has a lot of energy under the skin, but puts up a stony, cold exterior. To strangers, she tends to be a bit rude, but can open up to those she grows close to. The closest she’s gotten with another cat is in her relationship with her mother, whom she watches out for best she can.

Kithood

Ghost was born in Whitehart’s ‘haunted house’ which is occupied by her mother, Lawn Gnome. A nervous kit, Ghost spent most of her time inside, hiding whenever twolegs or dogs would pass by. She spent moons simply wandering the old house, exploring every dilapidated nook and cranny she could find. Often times, she’d get her tiny body stuck in between walls or under floor boards, and eventually ended up crying for help from her mother.

As she grew older, she grew braver. The mice and bugs that tended to move into her home became playmates first, and then prey. The dusty and maze-like interior of the house was perfect for games and hunting practice. She would bolt all around the home, up stairs and back down again, only occasionally dashing outside and then back in. For a large part of her youth, she remained fearful of the outside, as there were far less hiding places and far more predators. For this tendency to bolt, as well as her white fur and homestead, local youths have dubbed her ‘Ghost’ or ‘Ghostie.’

Adulthood 

Occasionally going out with her mother on excursions was helpful, and slowly she was able to do longer and longer stints outside. Ghost acquired a taste for outside prey, beginning to favor the leaner, less dusty-tasting meat she could really hone her skills to catch. Climbing was never one of her strong suits, so she tended to stick to the moorlands and fields nearby. As she reached adulthood in full, she felt confident enough to travel on her own, spending days at a time away from home. She learned the territory borders of the clan cats, though she sometimes had to run away from or talk herself out of an altercation.

Ghost is still very much an explorer of the local areas, foraying towards the clans, into the rock flats behind the mountains, and even through Whitehart’s neighborhood (which she found very stinky and noisy and does not return to very often). Despite her travels, the farmhouse is still her home base, and is where she spends the majority of her time. There, she hunts for her mother, and does the best she can to protect their home from outsiders.
