Ways to Apply

You will be asked to define how you wish you apply for this rank when filling out the form.

• Apply as Existing Character: You may apply for this rank as a character you already play.

  You will need to supply the name of that character.

• Apply as New Character: You may apply for this rank as a proposed new character.

  Ensure you are prepared to provide thoughts about your plan for this character.

Who you are applying with does effect the weight given to an application.
Adoptable Characters are preferable to Existing Characters, who are prefered to New Characters.

Provide a brief rundown of the personality and history of the character in question, making sure to explain where major personality traits came from, and to include those traits you think qualify the character as the next deputy.

Write an in character post in for the following situation as the character you are applying with.

You are asked to lead a patrol by the leader, and you come across a different clan cat and a loner fighting on your territory! The fighting is fierce, with both cats equally matched.

If you don’t act, there will be two injured cats to deal with, and if you do you run the risk of offending either party. The other cats in your patrol hesitate, looking to you to lead the charge.

The young apprentice Ratpaw shrunk back, fur sucked tight to her body in fear as she cowered in front of her mentor, eyes wide with fear as she almost disappeared in the massive tom’s shadow.

”The Clan comes first!” Goldstripe hissed lowly, his already massive cream tabby pelt raised in anger. ”The elders saw you take the last bird, before they’d been fed. Have you no respect for those who devoted their lives to ensuring you had a place to live, to hunt, to be born?!” the apprentice’s mentor, an older warrior, growled, fangs bared menacingly. The apprentice, promoted just a moon ago, seemed on the verge of fainting, her whole body trembling.

Jumpingleaf, the Riverclan Medicine cat, stands before Rushstar, his fur bristling. The older leader stares down at the young cat, not unsympathetically – but sternly nonetheless.

“It was a sign! Our ancestors want Mousekit trained as a Medicine cat!” He spat, now pacing in front of her. “I don’t care if she’s but a scrap of fur now – I’ll make her into a healer if it’s the last thing I do! You just aren’t thinking logically about this!”

Rushstar waited patiently for Jumpingleaf to stop his rant to breathe before cutting in. “Mousekit is barely a moon old. And you are just out of your apprenticeship. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to force a kit to be anything other than a kit. If you need more paws to help you since your mentor passed-“

She was cut off by Jumpingleaf hissing in frustration before continuing. ” And my decision on this would be the same for any kit or cat in this situation. Not just my daughter.”
