Gemini is a smoke tortoiseshell she-cat, her long fur a blurred pelt of dark and ruddy hues. Shades of deep charcoal and rich mahogany blend into smudges of muted orange and copper freckles. The smoke pattern in her fur reveals lighter undertones when the wind ruffles her coat or when she moves. Her stocky, muscular build contrasts sharply with the soft texture of her fur. Thick legs support a compact frame, giving her a grounded appearance. She has broad shoulders and a sturdy body, but her hunched posture and heavy steps lend a sense of weariness to her movements.

Gemini has wide, intense eyes that are the color of gold, always darting with suspicion or narrowing in some private thought. Her long whiskers droop slightly, framing a rounded muzzle with a faint splash of orange near her nose. Her ears are slightly rounded at the tips, one nicked from an old fight. Her tail is a dense plume of smoke like fur, tapering off into an ash-toned tip, which twitches with restless energy even when she’s still.

Gemini’s behavior is like a storm cloud – brooding one moment, chaotic the next. She thrives in the discord of uncertainty, her actions and decisions shifting like sand in a breeze. She paces the edges of her territory in a paranoid frenzy or sits motionless with her head tilted, as though listening to an unseen voice. Her moments of volatility erupt with sudden ferocity. A slight sound, a sudden movement, or a perceived slight can trigger her into acts of aggression. Her attacks are wild and frenzied, driven by fear and confusion rather than pure malice. Though her violence is often short lived, the memory of her claws and teeth remain etched in her mind.

However, most of the time, Gemini is a silent presence. She walks with light, careful steps and rarely speaks, even when spoken to. It’s a charge silence, as though she’s holding back a whirlwind of thoughts and emotions that might burst free at any moment. She lives in a world half built from reality and half born of her own fractured mind. She often perceives threats or figures that don’t exist, responding to them with fear or anger. Her delusions feed her paranoia, making her distrustful of others and even of herself at times. Though she seems lost in these false realities, her eyes often reflect the raw terror or awe she feels within…In rare moments of clarity, Gemini becomes deeply reflective. She seems to grapple with the weight of her condition, recognizing the fractures in her mind and the pain she causes. These glimpses of lucidity make it clear that Gemini is not entirely lost, but they also remind herself that the peace she seeks is fleeting.

Born into the outskirts of a Twolegplace far away, she barely survived the early moons of her life. A savage head injury – its origins blurred in her memory – left her mind splintered and her days consumed by paranoia and violent outbursts. She wandered from place to place, her unpredictable nature driving away her mother and those who knew her.

Her wandering eventually led her far from the chaos of Twolegs and into the desolation of the wild. By the dead of winter, she found herself in an unfamiliar forest, the sharp cold biting through her long coat. Hunger gnawed at her belly, leaving her alone with the ever present whispers of her fractured thoughts. The scents of prey and strange cats mingled in the icy air, but Gemini didn’t care. She trudged onward, her paws raw from the frozen ground, her mind teetering between clarity and bedlam. She wasn’t searching for safety or companionship – she was merely surviving, though some part of her, buried deep within, yearns for something more.
