| Physical Description : | The male Blackpoll Warbler’s nonbreeding plumage has yellowish-olive upperparts, nape, and crown with black striping. Faint dark streaks mark its light yellow chest. Its rump is solid gray. Its wings, except for two white wingbars, are black, as is its tail. The female Blackpoll Warbler has a gray to olive-green back that is streaked with black feathers. Its face and faintly striped chest are pale yellow. |
