Hawthorne

Hawthorne is a medium sized tomcat with a short, dense coat of cinnamon based sepia coloring. He is sleek and well fed, with a rounded face and golden eyes. His tail was shorter than average, but within the Burmese showing standard.

Hawthorne is a stern, but fair tom that greatly admires the humans that care for him. He generally would prefer to keep to himself, but recognizes the potential to form connections with other cats and people when necessary. While he kept a rather paws off approach to raising his children, he thought about them often and to what kinds of cats they became.

Hawthorne was born and raised in a cinnamon specific purebred European Burmese cattery that treated him like a prince. He was exceptionally cared for, showed at various events, and won a fair share of awards for his efforts. Eventually he was chosen to mate with a fawn Burmese she-cat, whom he barely got to know as he was kept busy by his daily life, but occasionally visited her and her kits until they were old enough to be sent away or kept at the cattery.
