A mostly blue dilute tortie she-cat with bright amber eyes

Taking after her mother in both shape and size, Brindlespice is a sleek, long-limbed she-cat. While her tail is of average length, her petite head, angular features, and large ears give her a rather distinct profile. She has a mostly blue coat with notes of cream mainly around her chest, where flecks and blurs of cream decorates her forehead and back. Her dilute tortoiseshell coat is kept well groomed, and only has a teardrop patch of white on her belly. On her face sit a pair of rounded, amber eyes, only a note brighter than the bright, blotted brindled yellows of her coat.

Most of Brindlespice’s mentality is one that comes off as a bit selfish. Her days in the apprentice den seemed to have mainly fostered her want of attention, and flare for competition. Even at a young age, she fought for her place at feeding, and constantly seemed to be underfoot trying to gain her mother’s attentions. Brindlespice is talkative, but selective in those who she deems worth her interest, but once she decides you’re going to give her the satisfaction of adhering to her comfort, she eagerly gabs and chats, and loves discovering secrets for all the wrong reasons. She’s a bit of a gossiper, and enjoys exaggerating details, and isn’t afraid to test and bend the moral limits of rules to get what she wants.   While a bit intimidated by the scary, mutilated visage of her half-brother, Bravesong, she instead channels that uncertainty through teasing the tom behind his back, or really anyone she thinks is ‘odd’ or ‘different’ than the norm.

Brindlespice was born first of four kits conceived by Maplesprig through Speckledfrost on the 7th day of Leopard’s Rest (2019). Her first weeks were uneventful and not strayed from the norm, mostly full of warmth and snuggling with many balls of fluff in the nursery, but also one that has always remembered wrestling for good feeding spots and tumbling over others.

As soon as she was able to walk she thrust herself out of the nursery den for some much needed air. There were so many other cats in her clan – and her knowledge of faces grew. While she eagerly explores the inside of camp, she hasn’t dared step outside – at least if she knew she would be by herself, and longs for the day when she be made an apprentice and allowed more freedom to come and go as she pleases.

On the 12th day of First Fishing 2020, Brindlekit finally received her apprentice name, Brindlepaw, under the mentorship of none other than the Thunderclan leader himself, Moosestar. She takes great pride in knowing that the leader of Thunderclan is her mentor, and has always done her best to prove to him that she’s more than worthy of his efforts. During her training during the moons of her apprenticeship she has seen a great many lessons, including developing a distaste for kittypets and Twoleg place. As well as combat and hunting practice, she’s also made a rival of Sootpaw of Shadowclan who she competes against time to time which included a race along their shared border in which ended in a tie.

Brindlepaw became Brindlespice, named for her tenacity and dicipline, on the ___ of First White 2020. She wears her new name and status with pride, and eagerly looks forward to stretch her legs with the newfound freedom of her new life, alongside her sisters, Dovethorn and Larchsong.
