Namecheap Shared Hosting is currently running on Cloudlinux 6, which has come to its end of life and will receive security updates before June 2024.

During maintenance, the technical team will upgrade our server's operating system to CloudLinux 8. This upgrade is essential to ensuring stability, the performance of our systems, improved security, and integration with new technologies and software.
